1. Students will watch a You Tube video about bullying.
2. Teacher will introduce the class blogging site and will discuss what a blog is and its purpose. Teacher will show students how to use the site and discuss the expectations. Students must complete the following on the blog:
- Answer the comprehension questions posted in complete sentences (At least 2-3sentences) after the chapters are read.
- Answer the “Big Discussion Question” (BDQ) in paragraph form. The paragraph must include 7-9 sentences with a topic sentence and concluding sentence.
- Respond to two other students Big Discussion answers by the end of the week. Students only have to respond to one discussion question per week.
3. Students will respond to the following discussion statement on the class blog:
- Virtually everybody agrees that bullying is a bad thing, and for that reason it can be concluded that most people who bully others really do not realize that they are doing it.
4. Students will listen as teacher reads the first chapter. Students will read chapters 2-4 for homework and answer the following questions on the class blog:
